Nikon F80 Arrival - 1st June 2019

A sneaky purchase of a Nikon F80 resulted in a trip to the Suffolk coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh for a walk along the beaches there. My existing film camera collection is a far cry from this camera. The F80 is a great film SLR which spoils you with its digital like auto modes such as matrix metering and a sophisticated (for its day) autofocus system. But you can switch it all off and go old school if you want. The auto-wind and rewind took me by surprise however. Wonder how long that battery is going to last cranking the film on and back at the end of the roll!
